The Libertines Agency is an Entertainment live music booking agency based in Newcastle Upon Tyne.. Providing gigs for talented musicians of all kinds, including established artists and up and coming unsigned bands, cover acts and session singers and session musicans. An agency with a difference, I market music acts on my books and then sell the act on your behalf to live venues concert arenas  pubs hotels entertainment agencies music companies other booking agencies and cater for the clients requirements. I act as the agent and here at the agency I take a keen interest in getting to know each acts special strenghts and requirements in order to sell and market you in the best way, I get to know each act with a hands on approach and offer a service that is ongoing to every act that joins the agency ,even though I am not your actuall manager I do offer management advice and manage your gig diary to every act that has passed the audition process and is on the books and roster..Here at the agency we specialise in corporate weddings functions partys awards ceremonys we have acsess to a wide data base of live entertainment outlets all across the country with more than 100,000 venues at our disposal. We are keen to promote and market bands who record and write their own music and the aim is to book you a small tour, we can put you in touch with session muscians which may lead to you getting a gig as a backing singer or guitarist with a famous well known band, we offer support slots for unsigned bands in London with a band head lining the gig many of the A&R reps would go to these gigs so it is a chance to be seen and your music heard by the people who can help you get an album released on a record label that is if they like you of course.  For cover music acts I offer gigs on the cruise ships to a third party client and make sure they are known to you.. I offer new acts a chance to be heard on my website for the public to hear your albums and eps and point them in the right direction to buy your craft. I am in talks with most well known pubs venues concerts festivals crusie ships hotels across the counrty, and provide these clients with affordable soloutions to their live music needs for their clients.. I am also in touch with the major booking agencies across the country to find great bands and acts.  So as you can see it,s an agency with a difference. We treat the agency as a Buisness first and foremost and always have the clients best interests at heart. We are a number 1 solutions service provider to the events corporate entertainment trade and always try to deliver on budget to the client and provide the best acts.

At present there will be no management for any bands/musicians at this moment in time, so I will not be able to be your manager, however this may change in the future, but for now this does not apply. If this ever changes you will be informed via the website.

I will not be able to take any bands/musicians under my wing and help them with getting record deals, yes we have contacts in the industry but this is a small service the agency provides, any band who wishes assistance in getting their demos heard by my contacts will unfortunately have to pay, go to address/services demo referral demo shop for further details. Unfortunately the agency can not do special favors for bands just because they sound good, and help them out in this way. This service does cost.

The agency can not point bands in the right direction regarding tours albums record deals etc etc , as this takes time, and my time is spent on my own acts who have signed up to my agency.

If you are out of town, including Wales/Scotland/London or any where other than the North East , you must be willing to join the agency and be available for bookings and willing to travel,   so please bear that in mind and consider if you are happy to travel  for work.

If you are one  many of hundreds of thousands of unsigned bands out there all doing it for themselves, and want bookings through us,   You must be wiling to join and be available for bookings , if you are doing your music d.i.y, the agency can only offer bookings for gigs, we can not help with any thing else, however bespoke advice consultation, demo submission, demo referral, press packs etc will cost. Please do not ask for help re: these issues, unless you are willing to pay for it.

Signed bands who do not wish to join full time but still want a gig from us are more than welcome, and we will book a gig as and when. Bands booking agents are welcome to get in touch.

 

We are a music agency and not a promotions agency, we do not do promoting, tickets on the door we are a bookings agency only. Whereby we book you out to pubs/venues. This may vary subject to terms and conditions, and may or may not  change in the future.

We expect bands to commit to us for up to 12 months and after this time period to stay on our books permanatley.
